Jackdawgamers - PB INIT failure

Help, prev played on your great COD 2 server with xp2400+ based system no probs. This weekend fired up my freshly built 5200+ system, loaded everything up but now keep getting blocked with PB INIT FAILURE. Have patch 1.3 to COD , uninstalled punkbuster and reinstalled via evenbalance , used their tester and all ok, latest updates, windows firewall set ok, still no joy. Used COD cleaner and started again , no joy. Can get on all other servers I try. Exhausted my limited knowlege , any help much appreciated.

Which CoD2 server is it? We have three running?

I will make sure Punkbuster is updated on the server and ask if any one else is having the same problem.

I have been on all three servers without problems they are all PB updated.

RobLad has just checked them out without any problems too, so my suggestion is this:-

I have used this myself whenever I have had problems with Punkbuster, it has worked for me everytime. Cool

I have been in the server and noticed one or two players being kicked. I would suggest that it is a player problem rather than the server itself as all other players seem to be unaffected

Not got the hang of the forum yet! Hense the edits! Sorry! Came back tonight and signed on and all is well. Forgot in the flush of enthusiasms of having a half descent computer to reboot? Thank you Wakey for taking an interest in a tyro's problem.
