As most of you should have notice, we are having some hardware issues on our (Wakey's) server.
Since we are going to replace the server's hard drives, and since I just started my two week vacation, I'm gonna look at this not as an issue, but rather as an opportunity to start some stuff from scratch, and update some of our services. And since the core of our services is going to be rebuilt from scratch, that means some downtime.
When this is over, our forum (this website) should look the same. BFBC2 and MW2 should continue just like it is now. But hopefully, I'll be updating our support channel to bring back support for some games wich I've been lazy to keep updating while I was working outside.
Hopefully, in about a week or so, we will be slightly better. :)

As we've been seeing lately, MW2 projects come and go, each of them more or less bugged.
So, instead of focusing on a single game client and migrate over and over each time a project dies or some unbearable bug comes up on a game client, I decided to go for multiple game clients support.
In the last days, I've been creating game client and dedicated server migration automations. When we launch our Jackdaw 3 MW2 servers, we can choose (the options are currently React, AuraCore or Repz) on wich client we want to host them on, with just the press of a button. It's now really simple for us to just jump to another masterserver if a problem comes up with the game client that we were using.
For those who are using our support channel, it's also that easy to choose on wich game client you want to play on, at the press of a button upon starting the game. I also managed to notify the players on wich client we are hosting our servers, upon game launching. If you don't choose another option, you will be directed to the game client where our servers are being hosted at the moment.
Tonight I'll leave our game servers on AuraCore. It's option 2 on our support tool ;)

MW2 has been brought back to life
During the next few days (starting right now) I'll be installing and moving our servers to a new OS.
During this process, there will be some downtime, on both our game servers and our TeamSpeak server.
I'll try to do this over night, so that the impact of the downtime remains minimal.
As promised, there will be something new for JD3 members, (even Wakey doesn't have a clue what it is) when all this is done ;)
Since I want to enjoy a nice Christmas (away from the online demands, if possible) I've been working on something that I know that Wakey really wanted for Christmas...

You guys just start LaunchIW5M.exe that you got from jd3support to get everything that you might need and be launched into the game.
Wakey, take care of the admin passwords.

Although the configs haven't been properly tweaked yet, our EmulatorNexus Rome (BFBC2) server is now online.
You'll find "Jackdaw3 Rush" server on the list. Join it, try it, and suggest config changes.
If you don't have Nexus Rome yet, I suggest you visit EmulatorNexus forum and create an account there. You can either follow that tutorial, or use jd3support.
And since I got some more days off, it was time to work on MW2 now.
Our servers (and jd3support client support) got moved to React masterserver.
I could go on speaking about the advantages of that project, but I'll let you guys realize that. But my personal first two reasons for moving into that project were the native LAN support (finally) and the fact that they don't replace weapons when adding new ones.
For those of you who are tired of ranking up each time we move into a new masterserver, you can just use unlockStats command to unlock everything.
jd3support users, just start LaunchIW4M.exe to get patched with everything that you need, as usual.
BTW, this new project finally uses the connect protocol. Example:
